Product Introduction

10KV Insulation Piercing Connectors are designed for use in 1 kV to 10 kV insulation cable systems. The insulation material is made of weather and UV resistant glass fibre reinforced polymer. Insulated case body, resistance to illumination and environmental aging, made of plastic with fiberglass allowing high resistance to its environment. Equipped with dual shear head screw. A single torque control nut draws the two parts of the connector together

Provide a fully sealed, waterproof connection of aluminum and copper main and tap conductors up to 10KV.The blades of the Service Insulation Piercing Connectors are made of tin-plated copper or aluminium alloy allowing connections to aluminium and/or copper stranded conductors. Those insulation piercing connectors are an easy fit in copper-to-copper, copper-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-aluminum applications.

As cable branch connection, insert the branch cable after good regional cap and determine the main line branch location, using the torque nut on the socket wrench tight wire clip, as the torque nut tighten, clamp and two pieces of the insulator of puncture blade fuses, at the same time, wrapped around the puncture of the blade arc sealant mat gradually close to the cable insulation, piercing the blade also started to puncture the cable insulation and metal conductor.
